Desktop Journal (most recent version 3.9) is not designed for business or office use, but rather for the individual. A throwback, if you will, to a time when someone simply sat down in their favorite chair at the end of the day, or on that rainy afternoon, and with pen in hand, quietly jotted down their most private thoughts. It is simple, straightforward journal (or, if you prefer the term, diary) software, meant to store your entries, and those private thoughts safely, but without the sometimes confusing and quite often, frivolous bells and whistles. All entries are encrypted (though user optional) and access to the interior of your journal can only be accessed by you (front-cover pass code). Entries can be searched by date, you can simply flip through your entries by page (forward and back), or you can set the page # and simply jump to that location.
The interior of the journal also contains a scribble pad, a daily reminder, and also includes a user friendly, searchable and integrated contact book which can store names, numbers and email or street addresses of family or friends. This most recent version also contains several compact & carefully tailored games accessible from the journal's interior (open book format), and launch with a simple click. Complete and up-to-date help-files are also included.
